Behavior on the meme

• Be excellent to each other.
  
  
• Bashing of characters, pairings, fandoms, actors, kinks, stories, fellow fans: Don't do it. Polite, reasonable discussion is fine. Insults and attacks are not.

How to post a prompt

• Use subject lines to convey the following: character/pairing/moresome, fandoms (if any other than DOFP), kink/trope/request, possible warnings.
  
  
• REQUIRED WARNINGS: AO3-style. If your prompt contains Character Death, Underage, Rape/Non-Con, or Graphic Violence, please list them (CD, U, NC, GV will do fine, if you're short on space) or Choose Not To Warn (CNTW).
  
  
• For all other warnings, please use your best judgment. You are welcome to warn in any way that makes sense to you.
  
  
• Post anonymously or not, as you prefer.

How to post a fill

• Fills may be anything. Fic, art, podfic, meta, crocheted doilies, hand-painted miniatures, stuffed animals, vids, fanmixes, and anything else is welcome. If you need to leave a link to another site in order to post your fill, that is fine... but please don't link to locked material (including open-membership communities).
  
  
• Repeating here: REQUIRED WARNINGS: AO3-style. If your fill contains Character Death, Underage, Rape/Non-Con, or Graphic Violence, please list them (CD, U, NC, GV will do fine, if you're short on space) or Choose Not To Warn (CNTW).
  
  
• Any number of people can complete a fill. Don't worry about volunteering to fill a specific prompt; just fill whatever moves you!
  
  
• Reply to the comment that prompted the fill. If you'll need more than one comment, feel free to use (1/5), (1/27?), (1a/7), (1b?/18), (1/?), etc. in order to indicate that.
  
  
• Use the subject line for title, any fandoms that are being crossed over, characters/pairing/moresome, and any required warnings. For example: "Brief Lives, DOFP/Sandman. Charles/Death, Warning: CD."
  
  
• Post a link to your fill to the current list of fills. (If you have an update, feel free to post the update as a reply to your original fill comment.)

The meme itself

• The meme is currently being run by futurepast_mod (so far there are two brains in this mod system). Anyone who feels like volunteering to help, we'd appreciate it! One of our goals is to make sure that if we need to take a break, we recruit another mod who can keep the meme active in our absence.
  
  
• Memes will close at 2500 comments to help deal with server load; we'll talk about adjusting that if need be. There will be a 24-hour pause between rounds!
